Conference Venue
The conference will take place in the historic Münster Palace in the heart of the city. The 237-year-old baroque palace, a landmark of Münster, is the main building of the university surrounded by a beautiful green area and the botanical garden.
Welcome Reception
The welcome reception is located at the Geomuseum, which is in the historical city center of Münster. The Museum provides an inspiring backdrop for the evening with its unique original exhibits of great scientific value representing 13.8 billion years of history. The highlight of the Geomuseum is the 43,000-year-old mammoth.
Conference Dinner
We will enjoy the conference dinner in the A2 Café. The A2 offers a view on the Aasee – a lake as the most central leisure green area in Münster which is only a few minutes‘ walk from the historical city center.

Arrival by Plane
For convenient access to Münster, consider flying to the local Münster/Osnabrück International Airport. Additionally, airports in Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt offer suitable options for the journey. Upon arrival, efficient train and bus connections are available for travel to Münster.
Arrival by Train
Münster is connected to Germany’s high speed rail network. Take the train station „Münster (Westf) Hbf“.

Arrival by Car
Münster is connected to the A1 and the A3 highways. The parking facilities can be found around the palace (Münster Schloss), in the historical city centre or in the Georgskommende 26 48143 Münster.

To get from Münster main station (train) to the conference location Münster Palace (Münster Schloss), take

For the arrival to the main conference in the palace you may consider renting a bike.
